Stephen G. Cantrelle is a retired coatings chemist who has spent most of his life trying to understand God, himself, and the tangled space between the two. Much of what he has learned about grace and truth has come through mistakes, missteps, and what he calls “a massive junkyard of failures” — the very places where God met him with patience instead of judgment.
He writes as a man who has tried nearly everything but union with Christ, only to discover that the life he was searching for had been God’s gift all along. His desire is simple: to help believers recognize the presence of Jesus within them, and to walk with Him sincerely, honestly, and without pretense.
Stephen lives quietly in East Texas, where he continues to read, pray, write, and learn to trust the Lord one day at a time.
